Rick Cassibo


Rick Cassibo add has worked at Custom Decor Carpet One Floor & Home for several years. Rick's experience includes installation of floor and wall tiles, in commercial and residential applications; specializing in back slpashes.

Rick’s specialty is in the finishing. He makes sure that the job is complete and the customer is satisfied.

Rob Alexander


Rob is involved in every aspect of the business. Rob is in charge of looking after the warehouse and preparations for all flooring installations. Rob is involved in shipping and receiving, preparing customer orders, and deliveries.

Rob is now managing the Benjamin Moore Paint Department. Rob will assist you with all your paint needs and problems. Rob's knowledge of art enables his abilites in color matching.

Rob is also an artist, and very good at freehand drawing and art.

Todd Andrews


Todd is the senior flooring installer at Custom Decor Carpet One Floor & Home. Todd is held in high esteem by all the other installers and by every customer that he assists.

His installation specialties include commercial applications for specialty projects such as hospitals, schools, and any flooring job requiring specialty knowledge of the products.

Todd's knowledge of flooring systems includes patterned carpet, commercial vinyl and laminate flooring. Todd receives many compliments from customers, for his excellent work ethic, and knowledge of flooring.

Donna Kerr


Donna Kerr is the first person to greet you at Custom Decor Carpet One Floor & Home. Her infectious attitude is welcoming to every customer.

Donna is a certified Benjamin Moore Paint Consultant, and can color match any swatch to get you the perfect hue. Donna is knowledgeable on all products in the showroom, whether it is porcelain tile, area rugs, wood flooring or carpet from the Select-A-Floor System.

Donna also is a Certified Drapery Consultant, and will assist you with samples in our new drapery showroom. Donna has extensive knowledge of all drapery treatments.

Richard Kirkland

Jane VanderBaaren


Jane VanderBaaren is the co-owner of the business. Jane’s main job is doing the accounting, and assisting in the purchasing and receiving. Jane’s interests have always been in decorating, so she has the perfect job.

Jane is also a Benjamin Moore Color Consultant and enjoys creating the perfect color, or paint finish. She is always on the lookout for new trends, and is proud that Custom Decor Carpet One Floor & Home is a testament to creating a Beautiful Store in the Brockville Area.

Katie Selch


Katie is the Decorating Consultant Extraordinaire of Custom Decor Carpet One Floor & Home. Katie has worked at Custom Decor Carpet One Floor & Home for 8 years and has become an integral part of the business. Her opinion not only on decorating trends, colors and finishes, but building materials and design is highly sought after by contractors, friends, customers, and repeat customers.

Katie will take a job from a dream to reality. Katie’s knowledge has expanded from being a professional paint faux finisher to include all aspects of drapery and Hard Window treatments, and becoming an authority on wood flooring, laminate flooring, and ceramic tile.

She is part of the estimating team for residential renovations, new construction, commercial and schools.

Anne Woolley


Anne Wooley has been a part of the Custom Decor Carpet One Floor & Home team for over a year. Her extensive knowledge of all flooring and meeting customer expectations has been a welcome addition.

Anne is primarily looking after insurance, commercial, rentals, new building and renovations. Anne's experience in the flooring industry, and working on a project from start to finish, while meeting customer expectations is a true testimony to her dedication to the industry, and Custom Decor Carpet One Floor & Home.

Julie VanderBaaren


Julie is our Customer Service and Colour Consultant. She will be the first to greet you at the door and assist you with your decorating needs, whether it is choosing a colour, carpet, tile or area rug.

Julie's friendly service is part of the exceptional service at Custom Decor Carpet One Floor & Home.

Riley Douglas Vanderbaaren was born April 27 2007. Julie will be returning from Maternity Leave in March 2008; we look forward to her return.

Nate VanderBaaren


Nathan is part of the ceramic tile installation team. Nathan has worked in the business since he was a young boy. After graduating from Humber College, and returning from playing hockey in the Netherlands in 2003, he decided to learn the trade of ceramic tiling.

Nathan has proven, with his interest in the product and precision measuring, that each job becomes a work of art. Nathan also works in residential and commercial applications.

Ed VanderBaaren


Ed VanderBaaren is the co-owner of the business. Ed started a paint company in 1975 with a pick up truck and a strong entrepreneurial spirit. Ed’s visions of creating a decorating business in the Brockville area were big even back then.

Custom Decor started as a small store on Park Street, with an offering of ceramic tiles, paint and wallpaper. The store quickly expanded and the location moved to the Brockville Shopping Centre, where it remained for 9 years. While there, Ed added carpet and drapery fabric, and lots of paint and wallpaper.

In 1997 Custom Decor moved again to it’s present location at 3011 Highway 29. Since then, the business has grown to include carpet, hardwood, laminate, vinyl, area rugs and a spectacular showroom second to none in Eastern Ontario.

With Ed’s vision, Custom Decor joined Carpet One, the largest flooring buying group in North America. Ed looks forward to all decorating challenges, in both the residential and commercial areas, for many years to come.
